Marlene Rooney- Senior Paralegal
I’ve been working in the workers’ compensation field since 2014, and specifically for Morizio Law Firm since June 2018. I have a BA in English from Occidental College (Los Angeles) and before becoming a paralegal, I was a reporter for Sports Illustrated for Kids magazine.

Rachel Francis- Paralegal
I majored in Political Science at the University of Colorado, Boulder and went on to get a law degree from Northeastern University. I was employed at Edwards Angell Palmer and Dodge in Boston where I was an associate attorney engaged in a broad-based general corporate transactional practice. After my first child was born, I left the law and made raising my family a priority. During these years, I was also a classroom volunteer and served on several Boards. Besides my family, I’m passionate about tennis, and our three lovable dogs. With my oldest child in college, and two high-schoolers who are soon on their way, the time seemed right to resume my career. I’m pleased to be the latest addition to the Morizio Law Firm.

Laura Carella – Paralegal
I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut in 2014. In my last year of college, I worked for a law firm in Stamford and discovered my love for the legal field. For almost ten years, I specialized in the area of Family Law. I am excited to be a part of Morizio Law Firm and dive into the specialty of Workers’ Compensation. In my spare time, I like to go on family walks, read, and watch a show to unwind.
